Here in the low drone of a high-flying plane
over the north side of the planet somewhere
way out in the stratosphere
where the night globes of radiance
soft as the touch of her tongue
on the center of your own
inner turbulence
cradle your once and future thoughts
the second is transfixed
In that glow of night light
my soul
