To submit to Digital Paper, first, make sure you are a Teacher Consultant of the Bay Area Writing Project (this can be done with a quick check for crumbs on your shirt, notebooks in your closet, stacks of papers or homework nearby, dreams of revolutionizing education as we know it under your pillow, etc.). Then, check the upcoming theme and send your related photograph, poem (one poem per submission), story, art, essay, comic strip, short film, question or otherwise to bawpzine@gmail.com.
As per the New Cruelty, please include an artistic image (or three) to be paired with your work or perhaps a colleague’s work or perhaps saved for later!
ALSO consider submitting an AUDIO track of your work. Gasp, an audio who? An audio track: record your voice, make an .mp3 and send it in. How? See some technology cheat sheets to help you get started by clicking here.

Issue# Theme Deadline Published

To be clear:

1. Submissions in prose should be block paragraphs with a space between paragraphs and/or saved and sent as html. Poetry should be left or center aligned without too much fancy formatting or you’re just looking trouble in the eyeball.

2. Please send a bio with your submission. Bios should be 3-5 lines, written in the 3rd person and include your year of BAWPtism plus any links or email you wish to share with the wide world!

3. ALL SUBMISSIONS ARE FINAL! Please send the draft you are willing to have published. Once we receive your work, if we accept it, we will format it to work properly here on WordPress. If you send in a revision, we must start over with our work and, well, that just doesn’t work. Thank you for your understanding!

4. There is no size limit, but there are consequences for your choices.

5. Some work will be accepted as is. Some work will need a little revision to be ready. Some work will need a whole lot of revision to be ready. Some work will need so much revision, man, you may just want to go for a walk and then start over. Regardless, never give in to the demons. If you love the word, it will deliver.
