Sound Piece 1

  1. Sit in a comfortable place.
  2. Say, “New” every time you remember that everything in your universe is always in a state of flux.
  3. When you forget, say the word “New” to remind you of the fact that everything in your universe is always in flux.
  4. Do this for as long as you can, then stop.

Variation: Think or feel the word “New” whenever you want, wherever you are, or whatever you are doing.

  3. When you forget, say the word “Now” to remind you that only now is real.

Great meditations, David. The repeated words on the recording are a bit like attending to small waves in a lake, always coming in, always new.
